Who We Are

SoCal Mix Chorus is a mixed‑voice barbershop chorus based in Southern California, currently rehearsing in Irvine. We bring together singers of all backgrounds who share a love of close harmony, creativity, and community. Our goal is to create great music while fostering a culture where people feel welcomed, supported, and encouraged to be themselves.

We are proud members of the Barbershop Harmony Society and actively participate in the Far Western District, where we engage with the broader barbershop community through education, performance, and fellowship.

Our Community & Outreach

In addition to our regular rehearsals and performances, SoCal Mix Chorus believes strongly in nurturing the future of barbershop harmony. We support and participate in Youth Harmony events, working to introduce young singers to the joy of group singing, vocal harmony, and creative expression. These experiences help build confidence, musicianship, and a lifelong appreciation for singing in community.
